The Fluid Life Corporation is currently seeking an experienced Lubrication and Oil Analysis Trainer.
Description:
The Fluid Life Corporation has an immediate job opening for an Intermediate to Senior Lubrication and Oil Analysis Trainer.
This position reports directly to the Manager of Training & Education Services.
This is a permanent position in a successful and growing company with a proven history in oil analysis and lubrication support services. The successful candidate will provide high quality training services for clients throughout Canada and the United States.
Preferred Skills and Credentials:
- Strong teaching and coaching skills.
- Ability to explain complex topics to a range of audiences.
- Effective listening and speaking skills with all levels of an organization.
- Sound knowledge of lubricants (oils and greases) including oil types, additives, functions and applications.
- STLE or ICML certification is a definite asset.
- Understanding and/or experience with these maintenance and reliability assessment programs would be an asset:
- Reliability Centered Maintenance (RCM)
- Root Cause Analysis (RCA)
- Failure Mode Effects and Criticality Analysis (FMECA)
- Excellent skills in Microsoft PowerPoint, Word and Excel.
- The ability to quickly learn new software programs is required.
- Work effectively and independently with minimal supervision.
- Willingness to travel at least 50% of the time, with the opportunity to be home most weekends.
- Ability to work with large amounts of technical and oil analysis data and deduce clear and valuable information from it.
- Valid Canadian Passport and Class 5 license.
Duties and Expectations:
- Present public and private seminars using existing training materials based on lubrication and oil analysis programs.
- Coordinate or assist in organizing all aspects of regular public seminars.
- Continuously modify and improve existing training materials as required.
- Develop and present new high quality training materials based on customer needs and future expectations.
- Provide training and assistance to sales and lab personnel in developing lubrication and oil analysis knowledge.
