Lubrication contaminants, such as:

- fine particulates
- oxidized fluids
- varnish
are responsible for a high percentage of component failures. The good news is that
it is possible to remove this contamination from the lubricant by adding an ultra
fine filtration component to your system. Fluid Life is proud to be partnered with

Filmax filters have a patented hot melt seal that reliably prevents "channeling" –
an all too often seen problem with some depth media filters. The hot melt seal
utilizes a combination of special glues developed to withstand the temperatures and
pressures found in lube circuits. The adhesive is used to seal each element around
the core and also around the outer perimeter of the joint between the filter sections.
The seal also improves the overall structural integrity of each filter element.

Housings and Elements - Filmax filtration elements are 99% efficient at removing
1 micron particles along with moisture, fuel soot and varnish that form as a result
of chemical changes. The result is ultra clean fluid that can actually look and test
cleaner than most new elements. Filmax elements keep oil ultra clean for long periods
and are capable of holding more contamination (and moisture) than conventional surface
type filters. |
