Advanced Options for Bridging the Information Gap
|
WinRoast® is a highly adaptable software program that can exchange data with a wide variety of software. This integration can be facilitated with the advanced tools developed by Fluid Life.
The WinRoast Integration Tool Kit is a set of technologies and software changes to WinRoast designed to allow rapid implementation of integration projects of WinRoast with other software systems such as CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), vibration, accounting, and ERM (Enterprise Resource Management) systems. It is comprised of several behind the scenes tools and some visible features licensed as add-ons to WinRoast.

XML Export Utility
- The Integration Tool Kit provides an XML (Extensible Markup Language) export utility.
- WinRoast's XML export format has a published DTD (Document Type Definition) specifically for oil analysis data and will be self explanatory.
- WinRoast can export any selection or search result for equipment or samples to an XML.
- WinRoast can also automatically export new sample information to XML.

Plug-In
The plug-in interface is the primary method used to bridge the gap between WinRoast and customer software.
The plug-ins will use a standardized API (application programming interface) designed by Fluid Life specifically for the purpose of integration projects.
|
Custom Interface Plug-In
The custom interface plug-in is the final step in facilitating the customer's ability to create the desired level of information exchange.
The plug-ins talk to WinRoast using the Plug-In Interface and then to your software through its integration facilities.
For example the plug-in can:
- Look up current meter readings from your CMMS and fill it in on a sample for you.
- Automate updates of recent and current events such as the completion of work orders.
- Integrate and automate follow up actions using the Rule Based Sample Advisor or manually create them.
Your software integration group can use the plug-in interface to build your own plug-ins or you can contract Fluid Life to build them for you.

The Rules Based Advisor can provide instant
maintenance advice based on
sample results.

Minimum Requirements:
WinRoast License
- Pentium 3 or better.
- Windows 2000, XP or Vista.
- 500 Mb Ram.
- 1 Gig. Free Hard Disk Space.
- Internet connection.
