- Unit and Component type Icons.
WinRoast now includes over 50 new 3D-style icons that can be
used to represent your various types of units and components.
- Multiple Record Editing.
Need to change some fields on a handful of records? Now you can edit
multiple records at once all in one window. The new multiple record window makes editing records
easier and faster. This window not only shows you the records that are being edited, but also which
fields are different, and which fields are the same. Simply change the field(s), save, and you’re done!
- More Powerful Search.
Using the new advanced search, you can now search for records using
virtually any of the record-related fields as search criteria.
- Multiple Browse Windows.
WinRoast can now have multiple browse windows to make browsing
easier and more efficient. You can also now drag and drop to move, merge and copy records
between two browse windows.
- Faster Browsing.
The browser has been enhanced to read from the database in a faster manner to
provide quicker response when looking through your data.
- More Customizable User Fields.
WinRoast will now allow you to create as many user fields as you
need for each type of record. Choose from the basic string, number, date, or list type user field to
cover all different types of user fields you may require.
- Resize, Reorder, Show/Hide Test Result Columns.
Customize your Sample Results view by
resizing test columns, changing the order of tests, or hiding specific tests to make your result viewing
easier and more efficient.
- Import Audit Results.
Import Audit information performed by Fluid Life with WinRoast. View and
print full color Audit results specific to your equipment.
- Optionally Highlight or Require valid Oil Sample Information.
WinRoast now provides you with
the option of always highlighting missing oil sample information on sample setup to bring these fields
to attention for the user. If highlights are not enough, it can also make the oil sample information a
requirement during sample setup.
- Flag on Oils and Criticality.
Now you can create custom global flagging rules that can filter on
specific oils or criticality of a component.
- Resizable and Filterable Global Flag Rule Window.
WinRoast has enhanced the Global Flag Rule
Window to be resizable and filterable. If you have many flagging rules you can filter them to view only
flagging rules that match specific criteria. You can also resize the window so you can fit more
information on the screen. This makes maintaining and creating your flagging rules easier than ever.
- Include Hyper-Links in Notes.
Notes fields have been enhanced to enable hyper-links contained in
text. Http links, email addresses, or files that appear in any notes fields in WinRoast are automatically
hyper-linked (highlighted and underlined) for easy single-click access.
- Schedule One Time Follow-up Maintenance.
WinRoast now provides you with ability to create a
one-time maintenance task while viewing your results. If you notice you need to immediately schedule
a specific task, simply press Schedule Maintenance and fill out any required information and
WinRoast will create a corresponding worksheet for the user to print and complete. (Available only if
licensed for CheckPoint lube/task management).
- Graph Style Preview.
The graphing wizard now includes a small preview to help you visualize what
the graph will basically look like upon completion.
- Pie Charts.
WinRoast now includes pie charts along with line, area, and bar graphs. Making custom
pie charts with WinRoast’s graphing wizard and controls is as easy as pie.
- Report on More Data Including Flagging Rules.
You can now report on more data on reports with
the enhanced Report Writer included in WinRoast. Now you can create reports on your custom
flagging rules or any custom user fields.
- Add Images To Reports.
Now you are able to add images (jpg format) to your reports to make them
look more professional and informative. Simply drag and drop where you want them to appear on an
advanced report. You can resize and move the picture to make it look exactly the way you like.
- New Reporting Date Functions.
Report dates in WinRoast in a variety of formats using the three
new reporting date functions: MonthName() – displays the Month’s full name of a date, DayOfWeek()
– displays the day of week of a date in numerical format, and DayOfWeekName() – displays the day
of the week’s full name of a date.
- New Http & Https Tunnel.
WinRoast has redesigned the Http tunnel protocol to be more compatible
with more networks. Now, if your workstation can access the internet via Internet Explorer, then
WinRoast should be able to communicate with the lab via the Http tunnel also. Using an Https tunnel
protocol is now also an option for more secure transfer of data.
- Online Program Updates.
Keep up to date with the latest updates for WinRoast with a single-click of
a button. WinRoast is now able to automatically check for new updates and download and install any
of them if necessary.
- Updater Runs in the Tray.
The Updater program for WinRoast now runs in Window’s System Tray
for easy access. An option is also provided to always keep the Updater in the tray even if WinRoast is
no longer running and start it up during Windows user startup.
