WinRoast is a state of the art oil analysis and lubrication management software package created exclusively by the
The Fluid Life Corporation. Its goal is to simplify the managing of your oil analysis program, and most importantly, getting
the most for your oil analysis dollar. WinRoast is installed on a single computer or network at
your location, and communicates via a modem or through the Internet to the computer system
at the Fluid Life lab. WinRoast informs the lab of samples you're sending, and retrieves the most
recent oil analysis results from the lab. With its extensive graphing and reporting capabilities,
WinRoast is far more than just a simple storage place for the results.
WINROAST BASIC (OVERVIEW) – 1 DAY COURSE

WINROAST REPORTS (OVERVIEW) – 2 DAY COURSE
Prerequisites:
- Technically proficient computer user.
- Experienced WinRoast user.
WinRoast Report Writer is a valuable data management tool that is an extension of WinRoast.
Its goal is to create relevant and detailed reports and summaries based on the extensive data
contained in your WinRoast database. Reports can range from relatively simple, to very
comprehensive and detailed. These reports can be filtered and tailored to query any portion
of the database and report or summarize any number of fields or parameters under multiple conditions.
For example: report the number of oil samples from engine manufacturer XYZ with iron (Fe)
above 50 ppm and soot greater than 100% allowable within the last quarter – and then, why
not throw in silicon (Si) and aluminum (Al) to see if there is a connection with the iron wear and dirt.
Then lets go one step further and graph the results of the last four quarters to see if maintenance
practices have reduced these occurrences. The possibilities are only limited by the user’s imagination.
How is your oil analysis program working? Is it effective? How can I monitor the Key Performance
Indicators of my oil analysis program? How do I ensure management continues to appreciate the
benefits of an oil analysis program – or better still how can I identify opportunities for improvement
in enhancing my overall reliability program and cost saving initiatives?
In this course you will learn how to:
- create basic reports using the built in Wizard, similar to those included in WinRoast
- manipulate and edit existing reports
- create a flagging report, quantify number and severity of flagged results
- create a compliance report, inspect the integrity of your data
- create a contamination report, view and summarize contamination as it relates to wear
- create advanced reports, with full flexibility
- include date range functionality
- add graphs
- add ranges for grouping data, useful for creating flagging limits
- add these custom reports to WinRoast for easy access, printing and scheduling.
- and more....
