In-class public or private certification training sessions are generally between 3-5 days in length. We also offer private webinar based training over a number of sessions to accommodate attendee schedules and improve the online experience. On-demand certification training is also available for individuals who want to learn at their own pace.

Certification Training Courses
Machine Lubricant Analyst / Machinery Lubrication Technician Level I
The MLA/MLT Level I course is aimed at plant or shop technicians responsible for lubricating and maintaining machinery, whose daily activities consist of oil sampling, contamination control, handling, receiving and storing lubricants, oil changes, and basic machine condition monitoring. 24 hours total training time. The MLT/MLA Level I training course is aligned with the ICML Body of Knowledge for the MLA/MLT Level I in accordance to ISO 18436-4.
Machine Lubricant Analyst Level II
The MLA Level II course is aimed at in-plant technicians responsible for the daily activities associated with lubricant analysis for machine condition monitoring. Activities include sampling, sample management, performance of simple onsite tests, managing test results and performing simple diagnostics. This course is aligned with the ICML Body of Knowledge for the MLA Level II in accordance to ISO 18436-4. 24 hours total training time. NOTE: Must hold Level I Machine Lubricant Analyst (MLA) certification OR have a minimum of 960 hours experience and the knowledge base of the MLA I body of knowledge.
Maintenance and Reliability Fundamentals (CMRP Preparation)
This certification training course (24 hours) prepares the individual to write the CMRP exam. The course covers the five pillars of the SMRP Body of Knowledge, which include: Business & Management, Equipment Reliability, Manufacturing Process Reliability, Organization & Leadership, and Work Management. The CMRP is available to any maintenance and reliability professional, regardless of education background or work experience. Note the SMRP (governing body) DOES NOT provide in-person exams. Exams must be written at accredited facilities (e.g. local college) or online.

Fluid Life offers public certification training courses throughout the year, generally in the spring and fall. Courses are spread over three to five days and for the MLA / MLT I and MLA II sessions, we offer the option to take the ICML certification exam on the last day.
