 Responsibilities

  • Handling customer concerns promptly through various channels: telephone; e-mail; fax; regular mail; or in-person
  • Managing rush priority orders and any special handling requests
  • Providing myLab application customer support including managing equipment and logging in sample results
  • Interpreting and investigating oil analysis data reports to identify and prevent equipment performance issues
  • Updating and creating customer lab accounts. Proving customized reports to our customers
  • Investigating any sample issues for our customers such as setup and result issues. Finding missing data or samples
  • Database management of customer accounts, transactions, comments and complaints.
  • Investigating customer complaints and writing up non-conformances
  • Helping walk-in customers
  • Setting up processes for new oils
  • Follow communication procedures, guidelines and policies

Position Qualifications and Experience: 

  • Strong oil analysis and laboratory skills preferred (training will be provided)
  • Mechanically inclined
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize and manage time effectively
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Good customer service skills
  • Works well under high pressure

Fluid Life has a current full time opening for a motivated Lab Technician to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity in our Bloomington, MN laboratory to perform routine and advanced analysis on used oil, fuel and coolant samples.

RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Perform testing on used oils, coolants, and fuels according to ASTM methods.
  • Be accountable for your contribution to achieving turnaround time goals and quality lab testing.

  • Be able to transfer results accurately, perform data entry and identify lab supplies in need of restock.

Fluid Life has a current opening for a motivated and sales driven Account Manager.

Reporting to the Corporate Director, Client Services, you will be responsible for maintaining a high level of customer service for our customers in the mining & construction, oil & gas, and industrial plant segments.  You will also be expected to work with our Business Development team to ensure new customers are on boarded smoothly and successfully. You will be expected to contribute to Fluid Life’s overall sales effort by generating new sales using existing and potential customer networks.

As an Account Manager, you will focus on learning about your specific industries and will be provided with a high level of training and support. Your focus will center on increasing year over year revenue while meeting or exceeding Fluid Life’s HOT Goals (sales targets). Ideally this role will be working from our Bloomington, MN facility, but will also consider remote hires depending on the candidate and circumstances (i.e. proximity to a major airport).

  • Communicate with sales, managers, marketing, and other team members to ensure a high quality product and all sales needs are met.
  • Conduct business reviews to ensure customers are satisfied with their products and services.
  • Communicate the progress of monthly sales reports including, prospective customers, new sales, repeat sales and total revenue generated.
  • Updating the CRM and ensure the sales team is aware of changes within clients.
  • Monitor sales, prices, and products of competitors.
  • Participates in the development and execution of the Sales and Marketing Plan.
  • Compliance with company sales targets (HOT’s) and scorecards
  • Additional activities and duties as per manager’s discretion

 QUALIFICATIONS

  • Science (Chemistry / Mechanical) degree or diploma preferred. However, will consider industry experience as well
  • Previous industry certifications (OMA, CLS, MLA, MLT), or willingness to achieve these
  • 5+ years of experience in the sales and marketing field.
  • Experience within laboratory services / lubrication / mining & construction / oil & gas / industrial plant preferred
  • Driven to achieve sales goals.
  • Strong customer service focused approach.
