Creating a Route: Global Tasks

  • From the Home page CLICK the Equipment Tasks icon to open the Tasks window or select Maintenance>>Equipment Tasks from the left menu bar.

You will see two options.   

  • Global Tasks – adding a tasks that would be for all of one type of component (ie. All Engines need an oil change every 500 hours).   
  • Component Tasks – for one particular component from one unit. (ie. Engine from unit E100). 

Adding Tasks – Global Tasks

  • CLICK on Global Tasks 
  • Click the green Add Task button at the bottom of the screen. 
  • Enter the Customer, Unit Area, Unit Type, Unit Manufacturer from the drop downs. 
  • Enter any additional information available for this task.
  • Scroll down and enter the Task, Task Type, Status and Estimated Time. 
  • Go to the Scheduling TabEnter the required service interval for this task. 
  • Go to the Instructions tab and enter in any necessary instructions or notes required for this task. 
  • CLICK Ok. 
  • CLICK Save. Now this task will apply to all the components under that specific customer and unit. 
  • CLICK Home to return to the Home page.
