Copying a Unit

In this article you will learn how to copy an existing unit in your database for use in another customer record.
- From the Home Page, click on “Equipment” (A), then “Move/Copy/Merge” (B) in the left menu.

- Select the Customer, Area (if applicable) and Unit Type.
- From the list of available Units under Unit Type, check off the unit to copy (A).
- Select the Customer to copy the unit to (B).

- Select “Click to Copy”.

- If the unit does not already exist with in the customer record, the copy window will open and you can select the options to include in the copy to the new unit. Click “Copy”.

- If the unit already exists within this customer, the error prompt will appear. You can select to allow for duplicate Unit IDs or edit the Unit ID in the table. This allows you to add in a unique ID from any others in the same database.

- Click “Copy” when done.
