Creating a Route: Global Tasks

- From the Home page CLICK the Equipment Tasks icon to open the Tasks window or select Maintenance>>Equipment Tasks from the left menu bar.

You will see two options.
- Global Tasks – adding a tasks that would be for all of one type of component (ie. All Engines need an oil change every 500 hours).
- Component Tasks – for one particular component from one unit. (ie. Engine from unit E100).
Adding Tasks – Global Tasks
- CLICK on Global Tasks
- Click the green Add Task button at the bottom of the screen.
- Enter the Customer, Unit Area, Unit Type, Unit Manufacturer from the drop downs.
- Enter any additional information available for this task.

- Scroll down and enter the Task, Task Type, Status and Estimated Time.
- Go to the Scheduling Tab. Enter the required service interval for this task.

- Go to the Instructions tab and enter in any necessary instructions or notes required for this task.

- CLICK Ok.
- CLICK Save. Now this task will apply to all the components under that specific customer and unit.

- CLICK Home to return to the Home page.
