B-Series Sample Valve
PostedNovember 11, 2021
UpdatedJuly 21, 2025
ByFluid Life
For Pressurized systems
The B-Series is designed for high pressure, low viscosity oil sampling and is the most rugged and versatile sample valve available. It allows you to take hot, circulating, live fluid samples, reducing the time needed to extract a sample, while gaining a more representative sample and avoiding external contamination for a more accurate oil analysis result.
Applications
- Hydraulics
- Compressors
- Turbines
- Other pressurized fluid systems
- See M/MT Series valve for VG 220+ oil
- Not suitable for coolant, air, gas or vacuum

Features
- Popular industrial Euro-Probe style sampling valve with metric 16×2 probe thread
- Metal ball and seat valve allows pressure testing to 5800 psi (400 bar)
- Thread-on sample probe helps to control flow
- Rugged metal cap with backup seal
- Carbon steel valve has corrosion resistant zinc-nickel plating
Specificiations
- Sampling Range: 0-750 psi (0 – 5.17 MPa) (Note: sampling pressure greater than 125 psi (0.86 MPa) is probe dependent)
- Working Pressure: 5800 psi (40 MPa)
- Seal Material Temperature Range: Nitrile -40C to 115C (-40F to 239F)
- Valve Material: Carbon steel with corrosion resistant zinc nickel plating
- Valve Overall Size (L x W): 1.9” x 0.75” (approx.)
Standard Sample Probe
Compatible probe (CHK-BF4) is required for valve operation.
